
Jane Gagliardo
Jane Gagliardo, the main character in this story, grew up in the projects of Warren, Ohio, in a household rife with abuse. Pregnant at 17, she escaped her childhood home and married her high school sweetheart.
Together they raised three sons. Today, she is a state-certified counselor for abused women. She continues to make her home in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

Good for you Jane! I too, worked at a major pharma for several years. I tried to do my best but certain co-workers conspired to ruin my reputation. I did seek legal advice when I discovered their scheme. I could not afford to pursue a case against them but I did go to HR and reported them. I got some support from HR who was able to convince my managers that my co-workers were behaving in a very unprofessional manner. I stayed on but I wish I had left because I was unhappy knowing that my co-workers were so jealous and petty. I am so glad that you were able to “move on” and have this new and rewarding career.
